Does anyone know of a barn type rental area for a wedding reception?

My sister is getting married and they are having a western themed wedding. They would like to have their reception in a barn type hall but cannot find one. We are looking for one in Southeastern Wisconsin, preferably the Kenosha, Racine, or Walworth County areas. Any other suggestions for a site that may fit their theme are welcome as well.

here’s an idea, go to a few farms and ask them, in this economy they can probably, give you a great price. then you can do the whole thing buffet style having a local restaurant cater it.

The only ones I could find are closer to Madison. If they do decide to move the wedding more in this direction, there are several barns that host events.

Whenever I’m driving toward Kenosha (on I94 from Milw.) I notice this place on the ride hand side of the interstate. I can’t remember the name but I thought it had something to do with apples. I also thought it had a restaurant. It seemed to be more of a rustic place, so perhaps you can try to find out what this place is? Although, it’s been several years since I’ve driven that way, so maybe it’s not there anymore.

    Sorry I couldn’t help more.
