Wedding reception?
We are thinking about having a potluck type reception. My future mother in law suggested it. I think it might be a good idea and I think a lot of the family members might like it. As for our Wedding cake, my fiances cousin is a pastry chef, so he is making us a Chocolate mint cake and than he is making different flavored cupcakes and we are gonna place them like a wedding cake. What do you think though? Potluck reception?
Yea it’s a small wedding, and it’s only close friends and family. The chocolate mint cake is kinda decoration cause the colors are brown and clover green, and that cake is for us…the cupcakes are for everyone else. I dunno he thought of it I only gave him a few things to do and he did that and didn’t confirm just did it and bought me flowers and said I love you I already did this. Yea we aren’t doing anything HUGE just small simple and sweet
We are also putting in the invitations to family that instead of a wedding present we would love for you to make one of your favorite signature dishes
Wedding Reception?
My daughter is getting married in August. Her colors are black, red and silver. It will be a formal reception and she is insisting on black table cloths. I say it’s inappropriate especially since the wedding ceremony will be in the same room. Has anyone ever seen this? Thank you.

Wedding reception???
My sister in law is having her wedding reception in the church’s gym. She is wanting me to help her decorate the reception. We are trying to figure out how to make it less "gym looking". But since she is trying not to spend a lot of money we are at a loss. The ceiling is about 25 feet tall in there and it will have at least 20 8ft. long rectangle tables as well as the dance floor an area for the buffet and for the head table. The gym is pretty big! We are also trying to think of inexpensive "unique" ways to do it. Not just the same ol thing. Her colors are pink black and white. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

What should I use for a wedding reception centerpiece?
My wedding is Saturday and I have yet to settle on decorations and centerpieces for the reception! I thought about using live goldfish as a centerpiece or something as simple as flowers in a nice vase. My colors are chocolate and ivory. Please help!!!
What should i do with my make-up for senior pictures?
the place taking my pictures says to stick with evening/natural make-up if we use any. i dont know what to do. i dont want to over do it but i want to look good and natural for my pictures. and im wearing a black shirt for it. my eyes are hazel and i have ivory colored skin. i dont even know what colors i would go with if i did use any make-up. the only thing i ever use is black mascara.
Senior Pictures?
So I am taking senior pictures in two weeks and i’m wearing my hair straight. The only problem is when I dry it and straighten it, it frizzes and that won’t look good in pictures. Are there any products that I can use to help reduce the amount of frizz so my senior pictures don’t look too bad.
Also, any advice on what colors or styles I should wear for pictures. The phototgrapher does them outside near a fort and train tracks and outside things like vines and rocks and things of that sort. Any suggestions on apperal are always welcome.

Wedding Reception at a hotel in san francisco japan town, how can i add subtle japanese touches to my wedding?
Ok so we are planning on having our reception at the Hotel Kabuki! it was recently renovated to be very modern and even has gone green. we love the venue but did not plan on a japanese decor,and really would love to accent our wedding with the japanese theme.our food and beverages already have subtle touches we want to see it in our centerpieces, and favors , tradition, and attire. our colors are platinum ,aubergine and lavender .
