I’m getting married at a country club who provides a hostess to help organize the wedding/reception and keep everything going smoothly. Do I have to tip her at the end of the day? The club already adds on a 20% gratuity to the final bill and I would assume would include her tip or am I assuming wrong?

I live in the Atlanta area. We have a small budget for our wedding reception. To rent a tablecloth for banquet size tables is a piece. We have 15 tables. I am not about to spend 0 dollars for tablecloths alone. We are only using clear plastic plates.
What is the best alternative to using linen tablecloths?

I am in charge of keeping people active and engaged and not bored during the beginning of a wedding reception. We’re doing a guest book, a large photo of the couple for guests to write messages on, but I’d love to do a few other creative things that people will participate in. any ideas or cool things you’ve run across at receptions. I want to use paper lanterns at my wedding reception. I rented a hall that has ugly florescent panel lighting (like cafeteria lighting). Ideally, I don’t want to have to use the panel lighting at all, but don’t have any clue how much light paper lanterns actually give off and how many I would need to order to have sufficient lighting for pictures, etc. PLEASE HELP?
